Musician and L.A. devotee Moby will walk the Dwell on Design audience through photos he has taken for his blog, Moby Los Angeles Architecture, to explore the city’s revered, undiscovered, and bizarre buildings. “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it many times again in the future, tautologically,” writes Moby on his blog, “but we live in a very odd city county place.” Sunday, May 31, 4:00 p.m., Stage A

Fresh from completing construction on his net-zero home in Los Angeles, actor, environmentalist, and Dwell on Design veteran Ed Begley, Jr., will share images of the finished design onstage, and enlighten the audience on how to build a green home in the city. Begley will sign books at the Dwell Bookstore after his presentation. Sunday, May 31, 3:00 p.m., Stage A

Micky Dolenz, who mugged, sang, and drummed his way to fame in the 1960s as one of The Monkees, comes to Dwell on Design with his daughter Georgia, with whom he started a handmade wood furniture company called—what else?—Dolenz and Daughters in 2013. The two will share their designs and their dedication to carrying on the tradition of craftsmanship in the design world. Saturday, May 30, 3:00 p.m., Stage A

This year Ellen DeGeneres, in collaboration with HGTV, made a splash in the design world with Ellen’s Design Challenge, which featured six aspiring designers jockeying for a grand prize of $100,000. We welcome Katie Stout, the winner of the competition, and her carpenter, Karl Champley, for a discussion with Dwell’s Editor in Chief, Amanda Dameron, who was one of the judges on the show. Saturday, May 30, 4:00 p.m., Stage A

Dwell is pleased to welcome Marcel Wanders as the keynote speaker for the 10th annual Dwell on Design Show, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center May 29-31. A visionary thinker and designer, Wanders often speaks to the importance of open-mindedness and the responsibility of bringing humanity into the design industry’s work. Wanders’ goal—to “create an environment of love,” and inspire a life filled with passion—embodies a desire to connect, communicate and push boundaries, all of which align with Dwell on Design’s unconventional approach to the traditional design show.  Friday, May 29, 6:00 p.m., Stage A
